About Andy's House

Andy’s House is located in Montreal, Canada and is close to the shores of the St Lawrence river. The house is a beautiful example of an impressive American “Four Square’, a popular design choice of the early 1900’s. With spacious living areas on three floors and a fully equipped gym and second kitchen at the basement level, there is ample room to accommodate groups while also providing more private spaces for individualized care.

The large garden is an oasis of calm, filled with trees, sitting areas and a swimming pool for those hot summer days.

For families visiting loved ones, the surrounding area is full of cafes, restaurants, museums, and a walking/biking path that winds itself along the shore of the river.

Our intention is to provide a loving home atmosphere in which to heal and surrender to one of the best treatment centre programs in Canada.

Careful team selection has resulted in one of the most qualified, experienced, and professional team of caring individuals of any English addiction rehab in Quebec. Our team, comprised of certified drug and alcohol addictions counsellors, an addictions medicine physician, social worker, and psychotherapist, offer highly specialized care and treatment approaches.

By offering family counselling services, and weekly family support groups, we help our residents and their loved ones uncover complex family dynamics and dysfunctional patterns that may be promoting or sustaining addiction. Once these problematic patterns are identified, family members work together to foster a healthier family system that supports individuals in their ongoing journey towards recovery.

Our 2-year weekly, aftercare program allows alumni to stay connected with their support network and discuss their ongoing recovery. There is a reduced risk of relapse for individuals who participate in aftercare programs. The Andy’s House aftercare program, in combination with our Lifetime Support program, can help alumni navigate the challenges of sober living. The added support helps clients build the confidence they need to maintain their sobriety.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to addiction treatment. Using a combination of evidenced based approaches and a 12 step model, our clinical team works together to carefully tailor a treatment plan that will meet the needs of each individual and is reviewed every 30 days.

Continue your recovery program by visiting the facility anytime during the day. We encourage ongoing attendance in group sessions and participation in House activities. Clients can benefit from ongoing access to their caseworker and one on one counselling and guidance for as long as they remain in our program of recovery.
